Generating Over $10,000 in
Sales in 2 Hours!

On Sunday, November 24, over 150 participants came together for the BlaQue Cash Mob at Earnest Foods, a Black-owned organic grocery store in Jamaica, Queens. This community-led initiative successfully generated over $10,000 in sales to support the local business, showcasing the power of collective economic action.

A cash mob is a movement aimed at boosting sales for local Black-owned businesses while promoting economic empowerment.

Earnest Foods, which opened its doors in November 2021, has become a cornerstone in the fight for access to fresh and high-quality food options.

Earnest, owner of Earnest Foods, shared his appreciation for the event: “The BlaQue Resource Network is the most dynamic social media platform in Queens. Its ability to galvanize the community is unmatched. We are so grateful to the BRN team. The 2 hours of the BRN Cash Mob generated almost 10 thousand dollars in revenue.”
