After a very concerning and highly criticized debate performance with Donald Trump, a few weeks ago, President Joe Biden, decided not to seek reelection for another term as President, and endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris - to become the Democratic Presidential nominee. Since then the Presidential political landscape has become highly rebooted and reenergized!
VP Harris has become a cause célèbre", especially in democratic circles. This is because many feel her candidacy and presumptive Presidential nominee position is more than just about her personal perspectives and proclivities on governing policy.
Many actually feel she embodies a transcendent bulwark against autocracy, fascism, with an urgent mission to save democracy from the threat of Donald Trump's ambitions. This is because of the weaponizing of the Supreme Court to grant President immunity in a recent broad legal decision on his actions, in addition to the court getting rid of affirmative action in college admissions, and decisions like overturning Roe v. Wade.
The major media was unwavering in its coverage of the questions around if President Joe Biden, could win the election due to his age and cognitive sharpness. Although the President, and many of his supporters, where resolute in their determination to run for a 2nd term, the countless polls and pundits gloomy forecasts and major donor slippage made his campaign not viable and he honorably stepped aside for VP Harris.

Biden's departure from the race was treated very respectfully by many Democratic Party leaders, pundits, and supporters as a personal sacrifice by the President for the good of the nation. Many people running and supporting the Democratic Party, expressed gratitude to President Biden, for the accomplishments he made in his 4-year term leading the nation and also his long distinguished career in politics.
A considerable number of Dem leaders and supporters have acknowledged the Biden/Harris administration for having passed the Infrastructure Bill and Chips Act, two things alone in reports they claim have created industry development and millions of jobs. Also the accordingly to media reports the administration channeled $16.1 billion to HBCUs and more government contracts to Black businesses.
The Biden/Harris Admin are giving incentives to fight climate change and student debt relief, which Trump's Supreme Court Justices challenged and tried to stop. Biden Harris have issued an Executive Order (according to VP Harris and many media reports because Trump told politicians not to pass legislation to stop the border crisis in this election cycle) which has shut down a lot of border crossings to about 50% of prior crossing it's claimed.

Excitement for the Harris Presidential run has been electric and undeniable! It has sparked an historic $200 million dollars fundraising week with over 60% of the donors purportedly giving their donations for the first time. So far this month VP Harris has raised over $300 million dollars according to the campaign.
A broad spectrum of political demographics have been galvanized, in historic adaption using conference technology, to give record donations and inspire over 170,000 volunteers to help the campaign. For instance over 44,000 Black Women came together across cloud video conferencing platforms like Zoom and across social media and raised over $1.6 million dollars.
Black Men (over 53,000) followed up with similar and expanded streaming and social media tools and raised over $1.5 million dollars. In Nexus over 160,000 White Women supporting Harris raised a reported over $8 million dollars, followed by and group of White Men supporting VP Harris. Then a myriad of other ethnic groups and diverse demographics joined the online movement for Vice President Kamala Harris' Presidential campaign.

According to the LA Times reporting “It’s organic,” said Los Angeles City Councilmember Nithya Raman, who attended a Zoom call for South Asians supporting Harris last week. “I think people are clear-eyed about what this moment means. I think they just feel a sense of hope that we actually could defeat Trump, and we could do it with a candidate that reflects the America that all these immigrants live in.”
With fewer than 100 days to the election and a new candidate leading the Democratic Party, the flood of groups — including Latino Men for Harris, Caribbean-Americans for Harris, Dads for Kamala and Native Women + Two Spirit for Harris — are motivated by a “sense of crisis,” Lien said.

Also as of this publishing of this article Harris is tied with Donald Trump and beginning to edging him out in the battleground swing states needed to win the election with the Electoral College. In a little more than a couple of weeks Vice President Harris has invigorated the Democratic Party!
This is not easy to do because the dems feature different demographics and interest groups. She is running a campaign that is obviously bringing new challenges to the Trump and MAGA/GOP party.
VP Harris undeniably a serious political force to be reckoned with after spring boarding from Joe Biden's troubled campaign. Vice President Harris' campaign is a growing potent threat to derail the election hopes of Donald Trump.
