Dr. Adrienne Whaley, Executive Director of the Festival, expressed her excitement about this year's event: "This gathering celebrates not only filmmaking excellence but also serves as a platform to discuss important topics within the industry, focused on Independent filmmakers.”
Independent filmmakers often face many challenges when it comes to completing their projects professionally while maintaining creative control over their vision. Attending panels provides a unique opportunity for both professional as well as aspiring filmmakers to learn more about the industry and share their knowledge.
Also sharing knowledge will be a team from the AT&T "Dream In Black" Division as a coveted Sponsor for the February and April dates.
Film and Video Submissions are Open until February 24th.
