Springfield
Collaborative, SC, formerly known as, Springfield Park MultiSport &
Enrich program, is one of Brookfield Civic Association's, BCA, public
health initiatives which strives to improve health and well-being
outcomes in Springfield Gardens and beyond. BCA is working to build a
healthy community by collaborating with others to provide access to
expert talent in physical, cultural and educational enrichment
activities for ALL, regardless of age, income, immigration or housing
status, in a safe and vibrant public space.
It's believed it's our collective responsibility to create access and opportunities of connection & physical literacy for our neighbors, (seniors, youth, immigrants, etc.) free of emotional, physical and sexual abuse, to feel valued and thrive in a safe space, vibrant place.

SC will operate for approximately ten weeks, starting in June, on Saturdays, 7:30AM - 12PM, in the Springfield Parks. There is programming for all ages.
It is our intent to offer a creative selection of activities, not offered before by our organization, and expand. Offerings like these help to enhance mood, reduce stress, further stimulate creativity and intellectual capacities, provide enjoyment, build memories and strengthen connections.
This season we intend to offer the following activities: JellyBeans Exploratory Playgroup for 3 yo; Shining Stars - Intro to Rotational Sports for 4/5 yo; Martial Arts all ages; Tai Chi all ages; Tennis ages 5 +; Volleyball ages 12+; Voice/Vocal Instruction all ages; and, Introduction to Flute all ages. First come, first serve! Bring a copy of the birth certificate and most recent report card will be collected during registration. Call if you have any questions or suggestions.
