A FATHER’S LOVE, FATHERS ALIVE IN THE HOOD, THE NATION OF ISLAM, AND OTHER COMMUNITY LEADERS RALLY IN EFFORT TO FIND DESTINI SMOTHERS

November 16, 2020, Far Rockaway, New York - Maurice Williams, the Founder of A Father’s Love, Kenny Carter, the Founder of Fathers Alive in the Hood, members of the Nation of Islam, as well as other community-based organizations and community leaders will rally in the Far Rockaway to demand answers from her paramour for Destini Smothers whereabouts.

The mother of two young children, Destini Smothers, 26, was last seen on November 3, 2020, at Bowlero Bowling Alley, located at 69-10 34th Avenue. The paramour initially stated that they argued while driving, and Destiny got out of the car. He is currently refusing to cooperate or provide any additional information about Destini. Destini left her pocketbook in the car and did not have a cell phone when she disappeared.

In November 2019, Samantha Clarke wrote a Medium article concerning 64,000 missing black women in the United States. The #bringbackourgirls was an effort to raise awareness of this disproportionate statistic on social media.
