"We are all small business owners working to accomplish our dreams," Crawford said. Nowhere is it more evident than the event that kick-started her own business and continues to thrive, All Things Detroit.
All Things Detroit is a local business showcase that draws more than 12,000 shoppers to Detroit's historic Eastern Market each time it is held. And a mix of more than 250 small businesses participate each time. All Things Detroit returns 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the following dates: April 5 and Nov. 1, 2020.

For the first time this year, April 5 is officially National All Things Detroit Day. And each Sunday before Easter to come will be designated National All Things Detroit Day.
"I love curating and creating events here in Detroit because I feel I have found the secret formula that helps to connect people in the community," said Crawford. "When crowds come out to experience an event I have organized, they are supporting small business owners. I like to think I am offering something different, helping others discover their next favorite product."
"It's helping small business owners find those loyal supporters, customers for life, that makes a difference and helps them succeed."
Crawford has built a supportive community around small business owners here in Detroit and across the region. She's done so by curating some of the most anticipated events and pop-ups in the city. Crawford is the curator behind the new small business marketplace at the Detroit Spring Home & Garden Show this March. Each summer she works with DTE Energy and the Downtown Detroit Partnership in Detroit to organize The Night Market at Beacon Park and Market Fridays at Cadillac Square.
Crawford has held high-profile roles, working with the NAACP National Convention in Detroit in 2019 and is director of MarketPlace for TEDxDetroit.
On April 5 you'll find her at National All Things Detroit Day in Sheds 3, 4 and 5 on Sunday, April 5 at 2934 Russell Street in Eastern Market, Detroit, Mich. Tickets cost $5 - $20 in advance. Children 6 and under are welcome, free of charge.
Download the All Things Detroit mobile app - available at the Apple Store and on Google Play - to see what's in store.
Crawford is a Detroit Young Professionals Vanguard Award winner and Crain's Detroit Business 40 under 40 honoree.
