THE LARGEST BLACK DOLL SHOW OF IT'S KIND TO PROVIDE CULTURE, FUN AND EMPOWERMENT

The 8th Annual Detroit Doll Show is set to wow the entire family with its expanded program on Saturday, November 9, 2019.
Detroit, MI -- Sandy's Land LLC is an entertainment service where the
mission is to "Party with a Purpose" to provide amusement and
empowerment. Its 2019 Detroit Doll Show
will include new and returning vendors and a power packed program to
delight every child as well as the inner child of an adult.
Attendees
will experience a variety of vendors that include children authors, the
culture corner, Black memorabilia and Black dolls. The event has moved
to the Northwest Activities Center to provide free parking and other
amenities such as food and comfort in the heart of the west side
community on Saturday, November 9, 2019 from 11am to 5:30pm.
Program will include 2019 Motown Mic - spoken word artist of the year and two times TEDx speaker Mikhaella Norwood to provide spoken word, Mini Play House Workshop sponsored by Power Org Math, Photo booth sponsored by B Elegant & Strike a Pose, Doll Look Alike Contest, Giant Games, Girl Power Corner, Food, DJ (Live Music), Arts & Crafts, Head Wrap Workshop, Doll Making Workshops, Building Better Men presentation by Odis Bellinger Founder of Building Better Men Program, shop with a variety of vendors and the screening of "The Sky Princess" film that include actors: Vivica A. Fox, Robert Gossett and Angell Conwell.

The Detroit Doll Show mission is to celebrate history, culture, diversity and self love with the promotion of dolls of color. The event has been featured in the Michigan Citizen, WDIV - Live in the D, The Detroit News, BLAC Magazine, The HUB Detroit, Metro Parent, American Black Journal/PBS, Rhythm and Praise with Dr. Deborah Smith Pollard on Mix 92.3 FM WMXD, "Small Talk" with Mark Lee on WXYT 1270, Black America Web, Black Doll Collecting and Dolls Magazine.
The event draws in attendees from around the globe of all ages. Ny'Ree Hardyway stated this doll show isn't just dolls being brought and sold. There's a spirit of pride, love and creative genius throughout the event. And Ms. Sandy always incorporate live and exciting performances that's unexpected.
