TOUR LAUNCHED TO HELP BLACK WOMEN WITH MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS IS COMING TO PHILADELPHIA

Philadelphia, PA  During Mental Health Awareness Month (May), newly awarded 2019 Literary Trailblazer of the Year Melony Hill kicked off the Crazy Like A Fox Tour in Atlanta, GA with women attending locally and those who drove and flew in to participate. The next week, the tour continued to Charlotte, NC to hold its second installation to a sold out audience where much healing took place.

The tour was created by Melony, who is also a life transition coach and speaker, as she felt there was a need to create a safe space for women to discuss mental health. The 4-city tour (Atlanta, Charlotte, Philadelphia & Baltimore) has two more stops left and on Sunday, July 14, 2019 it will land in Philadelphia, PA. It will be held at Location 215 from 11 AM-4 PM.

WRITING WORKSHOP

Writing For My Sanity Workshop: Stronger Than My Struggles Founder, Coach Melony Hill, will discuss how writing and telling her story has changed her life and lead the group in a few healing writing exercises

The panelists that will be speaking during the Philadelphia stop are Rene Brooks (Founder of Black Girl, Lost Keys), Sadija Smiley (Founder of Sails, INC), Michelle Kramer (Philanthropist/Activist), Taryn Goldsmith (Founder of Mood Swingin Inc), Alma Thomas (Minister, Author, Motivational Speaker, Consultant & Coach), Valerie Stancill (Founder of Cloud9 Wellness Healing Center), Mary Joyner (Certified Mental Health Recovery Coach), Cymone Lashae (Founder of A Sound Mind), Deborah Schrepper (LPN, CHC is the CEO & Founder of "Harvesting Life's Lessons" & Best Selling Author) & Founder of Crazy Like A Fox Tour, Melony Hill. All of the panels will be moderated by Celebrity Personality, Chardelle Moore.

When asked about the 4-city tour and her feelings on what women will obtain by attending, Melony states, "We have taken great care to curate a safe space for Black women to come together to talk about mental health. More importantly, how our mental health affects our sense of self-worth, relationships and every other aspect of our lives. The conversations held will pale in comparison to the bonding, compassion & healing that will take place. Attendees will leave knowing that they aren't alone in their daily struggles with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, trauma recovery, and other emotional and mental instability."

The Crazy Like A Fox Tour is designed for the woman who was told she wouldn't be able to do it, the one who was counted out constantly, the one who has endured tragedies/pitfalls and decided to not become what happened to them. That woman was Melony and she has since embarked on a mission to inspire in hopes to save women by sharing her testimony and knowledge. She strives to be the face of what is possible when you become in control of your life and career. Crazy Like A Fox Tour will be an afternoon of self-awareness in a safe place for Black women to learn, heal & thrive.
