 THE MAROON SOCIETY PRESENTS 'DAY OF SERVICE' COMMENCING JULY 27

New York, NY -- The Maroon Society (TMS), a registered 501(c)3 non profit organization committed to supporting institutions who primarily serve underutilized and underrepresented communities and people, will be hosting a 'Day of Service' on Saturday, July 27 in New York City.

The day will kick off with The Inaugural Maroon Society Achieve Brunch at Monarch Rooftop and Lounge (71 W 35th Street) between 12pm-3pm EST, also hosted by co-founder Kian Brown (@kianbrown) and actress Paulina Singer (@zuzusilk).

The brunch will be joined by a select group of 2019 honorees, which include:

* Muhammed Wilkerson, professional athlete and philanthropist
* Felicia 'Snoop' Pearson, actor and advocate
* Robert Ri'chard, Emmy award-winning actor, health and wellness advocate
* Dalia Davies Flanagan, founder of WELM Media and host of Melanated Mom Talk podcast
* Walla Elsheikh, co-founder and CEO of Birthright Africa
* Sydney Ireland, first female Eagle Scout aspirant

Tickets are available online, and include:

* The Achiever -- $111.11: Premium brunch with an unlimited mimosa bar and a tax deductible gift.

At the conclusion of the brunch, participants are invited to help assemble care bags for people experiencing hunger or have no home. Those interested will then walk to Penn Station to deliver bags. Subsequently, a back-to-school supply drive will be held at 127 Allen Street Cut and Shave between 3pm-5pm EST the same day.
