The BEST Networking Group has been one of the best ways I've found to get customers and clients in Southeast Queens plus also learn from successful business people.  I want to give a shot out to a great networking group in my home town of Southeast Queens!  I want to put on Blast The BEST Networking Group! 

I'm grateful the innovative, pioneering leader of the group Marsha "Boss Lady," Duke for creating such an effective group to help small business people with community economic development.

But 1st let me briefly talk about the importance of networking in the real world although we live in an era of social media. Social media is great however - don't underestimate the importance of meeting people face to face. As often as you can try to meet people you relate to well on social media in person.

Social media is a promising place to meet people however it has its limitations such as:

1. The Social Media platforms control your promotions with their algorithms to the point of in some cases social engineering (a topic for another day);

2. Even if you pay for social media exposure you have to learn sophisticated ways to promote your business like using promotional pixels and defining the demographics on their platforms;

3. There are a lot of players competing with you for social media users attention.

In short, social media is an effective marketing tool if you use it efficiently.  However, one of the most effective ways I've seen to meet good prospects, customers, and prospective clients is with the BEST Networking Group.

Over the years I have met clients at networking events who went on to spend tens of thousands and in some cases hundreds of thousands of dollars with my business over the years.  The BEST Networking Group is the most productive networking group I've found in Southeast Queens. 

I met the visionary leader of the BEST Networking Group Ms. Marsha Duke, by introducing myself to her on social media.  I saw she had a networking business group in our historic community of Southeast Queens and I told her about the things we were doing as well to promote business and economic development in Southeast Queens.

I've met some very insightful entrepreneurs through the group, learned a lot from other group members, and have gotten significant business from the group as well.  So my advice is to attend the events and strongly consider joining the group.
