10-YEAR OLD AUTHOR OF SEVERAL BOOKS HONORED BY BLACK SORORITY
Nationwide -- Rianna Facey is a ten year old author. Her published works includes books titled The Cat That Wouldn't Go Away and I Have Big Dreams.
Both books were published in the year 2018. Rianna was recently honored for her work by Lamba Kappa Mu Sorority in a ceremony at the Forum in Baltimore, Maryland on March 23, 2019. Photos from the event appear in the Afro American Newspaper's April 6th edition.
Rianna's story first appeared on Fox 45's Project Baltimore segment in May 2018. She has appeared in additional segments on Fox 45 since May 2018 which include her most recent live interview on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 to talk about her participation on a panel for the Black Writers Guild Youth Showcase on April 6, 2019 at Enoch Pratt Free Library.

Her books can be found at the Enoch Pratt Free Libraries in Baltimore City and County, most on-line retailers and a few brick and mortar stores.
In September 2018, Rianna's story appeared in the Baltimore Times Newspaper. In addition to her writing, she is a dancer, gymnast, model and speaker. On January 12, 2019, Rianna co-hosted the Laurence Hurst Anniversary Show at Banneker-Douglass Museum in Annapolis, MD where she also performed hip-hop dance.
On February 10, 2019, Rianna modeled for YS Clothiers at the Walk Fashion Show in Manhattan during New York Fashion Week. On March 30th and 31st Rianna modeled for the Natural Hair Care Expo at the Fifth Regiment Armory in Baltimore, Maryland. In her spare time she boxes, plays tennis, and runs track. Rianna is a student at Calvin Rodwell Elementary School in Baltimore, Maryland. Follow her on Facebook.
