MS. BLACK FIT AND FINE IS THE COVER STORY OF FEBRUARY SPEAKERS MAGAZINE
Detroit, MI The February issue of Speakers Magazine is online and
the printed copies will be distributed to all attendees at the Michigan
Association for Female Entrepreneurs (MAFE) at the organization's annual
Women's Leadership Forum, March 26 at the Hilton Garden Inn Southfield
on 26000 American Drive, Southfield, Michigan. Dr. Geneva Williams, who
is on this month's cover, is the co-host of the event and will
facilitate a panel of powerful women who will share their wisdom,
insight, inspirational stories and action-oriented strategies for
creating lasting change.
In addition, Speakers Magazine publisher, Pam Perry, will be onsite doing podcasts, live-stream videos and real-time social media updates.
"With this being the Year of the Woman, this year's forum will surely bring out more woman and promote more dialogue about the issues that women face daily," said Dr. Williams, who hosts a weekly podcast called Ignite2Impact and is also the reigning Ms. Black Fit and Fine.

Williams, who retired from a 40-year career in nonprofit management, was a trailblazer in her executive career being the first woman in many executive roles - and she hasn't slowed down. She entered her first pageant at 69 and won. She also recently won the 2019 Top 10 Michigan Business Women award by NAWBO. She is releasing a leadership book during Black History Month about her father called, Justice on the Jersey Shore plus doing a webinar to a Women's Leadership and Empowerment Conference in Bangkok via Live Stream. "Her story is inspirational and aspirational. It is one of reinvention - that shows no matter what age you can launch a speaking career," said Perry.
Readers of the magazine, which is the official magazine of the Black Speakers Network, can download the issue for free from the website at www.speakersmagazine.net. An article from Brian Olds, who is the founder of Black Speaker Network, shares an excerpt from the Speak Up anthology comprised of 30 speaking industry professionals due out in March.
Another feature article written by Mimi Brown gives three tips on how be a sensational storyteller. These practical steps will help speakers elevate their presentations and speaking engagements.
In the Speakers February issue are four featured speakers:
* Dr. Missy Johnson is a fearless woman who stared cancer in the face and made it back down. She has a powerful platform built on courage and strength.
* Irma Givens is a college professor who is an overcomer that achieved greatness when her life was thrown in peril. When you read her article, you will understand why she is so inspiring.
* Gresham W. Harkless, Jr. is digital marketing strategist and host of IamCEO Podcast, who specializes in working with small and medium size businesses.
* R. J. Jackson is an author, survivor and seasoned world traveler who shares her confidence and encourages others, known as "The Courage Giver."
