BLACK WOMEN COME TOGETHER TO GET REFRESHED, RENEWED AND RECALIBRATED WITH LEGENDARY LEADER VASHTI MCKENZI

Nationwide  Vashti M. McKenzie created The SELAH Leadership Encounter for Women 2018. This event, in its second year, gathers women leaders from all facets of life and brings them together to renew, recharge and reinvigorate before the new year. What does SELAH mean? It means to pause and think; to stop and reflect before moving forward in the new year.

At the SELAH Leadership Encounter, women enjoy enriching workshops, panel discussions, a power luncheon, evening entertainment and reflective times to inspire attendees to feel empowered - going home relaxed and reinvigorated to "Dream Big and Go Home: Start Strong, Stay Strong and Get It Done" - which is the conference's theme.

Like last year, the Leaders Who Dare Panel was one of the highlights featuring notable speakers and leaders. This year the panel will feature Tammy Franklin, the wife of award-winning artist Kirk Franklin, among others.

"This amazing encounter will facilitate the opportunity for women to encourage each other, come together, and be a resource to share with their husbands, children, friends, congregation, and businesses. Women take care of everyone else first and will only put on their oxygen mask before it's too late," said McKenzie.

Because McKenzie wanted women to feel "spoiled" - the Selah Encounter will be hosted again at the Four Seasons Resort and Club, Las Colinas, 4150 N. Macarthur Blvd, from Nov 29th - Dec 1.

Speakers Magazine will be distributed to all attendees and conducting interviews of the conference speakers which include:

* Regina Belle, Grammy Award Winner

* Dr. Dennis Kimbro, Best-selling Author & Lecturer

* Joi Marie McKenzie, Entertainment Editor at Essence Magazine

* Mia Wright, Ministry Leader and Author

* Gloria Mayfield Banks, Elite Executive National Sales Director at Mary Kay

* Synthia Saint James, Renowned Artist

* Tara Jaye Frank, Founder/CEO, TJF Career Modeling

* Brian Courtney Wilson, Stellar Award-Winning Artist

"This three-day encounter is a safe space for executive level women to gather and share ideas. It will be a place to step out of the noise of your everyday life and reset for the new year ahead. It will be a place to sit with passionate leaders to filter ideas for a more efficient professional life. It will be where innovators network with capacity builders and collaborate with those who are well on their way," said McKenzie.

Also featured in the November issue of Speakers:

* Edgar L. Vann, Author

* Ires Alliston, Global Branding Mentor

* Dr. Geneva Williams, Speaker and Award-Winning Executive

* Jacqueline T. Hill, Content Writer, Ghost Writer and Speech Writer

* Stacey Ferguson, Co-Founder and CEO Stacey Ferguson

* Yvette Caslin, CMO, Thinkzilla Consulting Group

* Erica Stepteau, Founder, Tenacious Queens Academy

Pam Perry, the publisher of Speakers Magazine and publicist by profession, is also launching a podcast to interview all the speakers featured in the magazine. The podcast called, "The Speakers Show with Pam Perry" will be on iTunes and on the magazine's website. Over the last year, Speakers Magazine has featured over 100 speakers. The current and back issues are available online at www.SpeakersMagazine.net.
