The Black Label Expo is the first in a series of annual pop-up networking events where customers can shop and support local minority-owned businesses. The event will take place Saturday, August 11th at 1:00pm at The Ideal Arts Space (905 West 36th, Baltimore, MD).

When asked where she got the idea for the expo, Courtney stated, "From my timeline. I am inspired by every black-owned business that exists to be recognized and respected in their field, and not as an opportunist here for the 'popular-wave' of profiting from the culture. There is so much talent in our communities that I want to create a unique space that showcases just that. This experience is for all who want to support small businesses and network with some of the City's finest."

Raven Paris, Black Label Expo's official event partner, is known in her community for using radio as her platform to connect with local artists. The Black Label Expo aligns with her mission of giving back to her people, and she is excited for the opportunity to partner with Courtney to promote business growth in Baltimore.

The purpose of the Black Label Expo is to connect business owners to resources that will improve their customer service and professionalism skills. This event will unite some of the finest businesses and influencers in the DMV for a one of a kind shopping experience. All business owners exhibiting at Black Label Expo will receive a complimentary PDF copy of Courtney's workbook Make Customers BAE: The Action Plan.

Customers are invited to RSVP for the Black Label Expo and sip specially crafted cocktails from the bar as they shop with local small businesses. Artist Cierra Lione, who was recently featured on xoNecole, will be in attendance and performing spoken word poetry. Guests will also have an opportunity to enter raffles for door prizes. Participating vendors include: Chained Hearts Boutique, Djama Beauty LLC, Beverly's Divine Designs, The Confetti Queens, and more.
