"I recently saw Orrin at an event talking about purpose and how he uses the game of chess to teach not only youth but everyday entrepreneurs," said Che Brown, Black CEO founder and CEO. "He's absolutely the right person for this honor from the Black CEO organization. He's also a natural choice in terms of appearing as a guest on The Black CEO Morning Show because of his unique message and the methodology as it relates to chess touching business owners and teaching them how to think and calculate their moves."

"I am truly humbled and honored to receive such a venerable and prestigious award," said Hudson. "It humbles me and motives me even further to continue to do the work that I do to help the kids."

The Black CEO Morning Show began in July 2017 to provide content for black CEOs in an effort to create wealth for their businesses and increase the economic impact in the communities they believe in. The platform serves more than 28,000 Black entrepreneurs on a daily basis, and is impressively growing rapidly, filling a much needed void for business leadership in the Black community across the country.

Be Someone is a Georgia-based non-profit which provides youth-centered leadership on how to win in life using the game of chess. Hudson teaches at-risk, underserved children how to gain self-esteem, rise up, and be a great human being. Through his unique teaching tool; the chess board, he teaches that for every move made, whether playing the game of chess, or living life, there are corresponding positive or negative consequence. Since its inception in 2001, Be Someone has impacted some 60,000 young people around the globe.

In April 2018, Orrin is doing two free events for children in Akron, Ohio and Chicago, Illinois. For more details about his events and his organization and/or to book Orrin to speak in your city, visit www.BeSomeone.org
