Nationwide: During the first week of February, Black History Month, NBC's Today Show aired an exclusive program entitled “A Tomb to Remember: First Look at a Bust of King Tut’s Mother.”
It featured Josh Gates, the host of the Travel Channel's Expedition Unknown. He had traveled to Egypt and there in an underground tomb revealed what he and other scientists believe is the mummy of the 18th dynasty Queen Nefertiti, wife of the Pharaoh Akhenaton and mother of King Tutankhamen.
It is time for the American scientific, media and academic establishments to stop suppressing, distorting and ignoring Black history and culture for the purpose of promoting the concepts of White supremacy and Black inferiority. It is also time for these same institutions to cease depriving Black children of their rightful heritage.
One of the reasons that President Donald J. Trump could so blithely speak of Nigerian "huts" and African "sh*thole" countries in a recent well publicized meeting is because he, and most other Americans, are totally oblivious to the greatness of African people and the richness of their history and culture. Let us hope that, during this Black History Month, the "Truth About Nefertiti" may serve to enlighten the president and a brainwashed American public.

What do the facts really tell us? First, Ancient Egypt was in Africa. Second, the natives of ancient Egypt referred to their country as Kemet, "Land of the Blacks" or "the Black Land."
In addition to this, the ancient Egyptian language was African, not Indo-European, Semitic or "Afro-asiatic." The hieroglyphic images and symbols employed by the ancient Egyptians are native African in origin. The royal mummies are generally African and have high melanin levels consistent with Black people.
The blood type and physical remains of the general population are consistent with other Nile Valley Africans. The culture of the ancient Egyptians, i.e., religion, family structure, social organization, cosmogony, etc., is typically African. Moreover, ancient Hebrew, Greek and Roman eyewitnesses overwhelmingly described the ancient Egyptians as Black people.
Queen Nefertiti and her son, King Tut, were born into Egypt's 18th dynasty. Egypt at that time was far and away the greatest land on earth. It was a nation so opulent, so awesome, so powerful that her neighbors and subjects declared that gold was as plentiful "as dust" on her streets. The Pharaohs and queens of this dynasty built lavish temples and magnificent obelisks, and extended their sovereignty around the Mediterranean world and deep into the interior of Africa. This line of rulers was one of the most renowned royal families in human history.

Genetic and sculptural evidence clearly shows that this family was of Black origin. This was proven in 2012. In January of that year, DNA Tribes R Digest published the results of their examination of the mummies of King Tut, his mother, father, paternal grandparents and paternal great grandparents. The findings indicated that, when compared to various populations around the world today, these mummies have an overwhelming genetic relationship to the people of "Southern Africa," the "African Great Lakes" and "Tropical West Africa."
In the case of Nefertiti, 82% of her genetic markers match current populations of four regions in Sub-Saharan Africa; while 96% of King Tut's genetic markers match the same populations. The populations of Sub-Saharan Africa are overwhelmingly Black.

The overwhelming majority of the paintings and sculptures of the queen depict her as a Black African. (See photos).

Amid orchestrated fanfare, a reconstructed bust of the famous queen’s skull, designed by sculptress Elisabeth Daynes, was unveiled on the show. The queen is depicted as white!
All across America Black people who saw the program are outraged by yet another example of White scientists, artists and journalists distorting Black History. Queen Nefertiti was a Black African and there is compelling evidence to prove this. But before we do so, here is a bit of background.
Since 1976, the artifacts of King Tutankhamen ("King Tut"), the famous boy king whose tomb was discovered by archaeologist Howard Carter in 1924, have toured the United States twice and are scheduled to again be displayed in Los Angeles from March 24, 2018 to January 2019.
Each time an exhibit of King Tut has travelled abroad its sponsors have been careful to directly or indirectly deny that the Pharaoh was a Black African. In 1976, the exhibits' catalog cautioned its readers that any dark depiction of the king had "no ethnic significance." In 2005, the exhibit’s catalog depicted the Pharaoh as White, based on the artistic whims of Elisabeth Daynes, the same sculptress responsible for the current distortion of the image of Queen Nefertiti.
Ever since White scientists discovered that ancient Egypt is probably the oldest known civilization on earth and the foundation of all others, they have sought to deny its antiquity and influence; and, most important, to remove Black people from ancient Egypt, Egypt from Africa and Africa from world history. This racist distortion of history continues to this day with the whitening of Queen Nefertiti.
