Grade: $35,344 - $43,443 Effective 04/17
Will be required to have working knowledge of the operation of automotive equipment and other motor driven equipment.
Perform routine vehicle repair tasks such as oil changes and tune-ups, and tire rotation.
Replacement of components such as starters, fuel pumps, and brake pads.
Perform preventive maintenance inspections and safety inspections of vehicles.
Assist others with making major mechanical vehicle repairs.
Follow specific instructions and guidance from supervisors and senior co-workers.
Assist with vehicle cleaning and snow removal when needed.

18/13/14 Salary and appointment level dependent upon qualifications of candidate
Perform regulatory reviews of permit applications for construction, remediation, and habitat enhancement projects in and/or near protected tidal wetlands.
Perform compliance inspections of permitted projects and violation inspections.
Provide testimony at permit hearings, enforcement hearings, and compliance conferences.
Frequent contact with government officials, the public, consultants, and contractors on proposed projects and/or violation investigations, at times in potentially confrontational circumstances.
Work may require activity in, on, and/or above tidal waters which may exceed 6' in depth.
Must have good communication skills for interactions with the public and providing testimony at hearings.
