In a contemporary environment where so many singles, couples, and married individuals are seeking answers, solutions, and advice, the husband and wife team of Shelbie and Hasani Ali have worked collaboratively to merge their creative energies and writing skills to pen the book, Fasting: Make Your Love Electric.

Born out of their own journey to enhance their relationship and to improve their dynamism as individuals as a couple, the husband and wife team undertook the task of uncovering the various ways that a healthy relationship is often directly linked to one’s food and lifestyle choices.

Hours of research, interviews, and personal experiences were poured into Fasting: Make Your Love Electric. Topics ranging from fasting and journaling to juicing and detoxing are explored in the Ali's new book. It is a must read for anyone who wants to improve their relationship with self, others and the community.

In addition to writing, the couple engages in numerous public speaking engagements. As professional keynote speakers, lectures, writers and motivators, their spoken and written outreach has reached thousands and appealed to multiple generations.

With over 20 years of combined experience, their collective work has appeared in various digital and print media including WHPR TV 33, Blog Talk Radio, The Detroit Native Sun Community Newspaper, The National Black Guide Network, The Osiris Organization, The Saginaw, News, and The Grand Central Magazine. Most recently, they were featured guests on The Boyce Watkins YouTube Channel.

To further solidify their ability to help others, they created the company Twin Flame Coalition, a movement designed to help couples experience authentic love. Dynamic, compassionate, empowering, engaging, and brilliant are just a few of the words that describe this author/public speaking husband and wife team.
