Local Youth Football Organization Uplifts Neighborhood Children Gets a Visit Of Support By Area Congressman

In 2004 the Jamaica Bulldogs journey began with two teams competing in the Harlem Youth Football League. In 2005 the program doubled in size with four divisions of football players and cheer-leading squads.
The Bulldogs have competed in the Big Apple Youth Football League. In addition, the Bulldogs having competed in the Empire State Youth Football League, they have also competed in NYC leagues.
In 2006 the Bulldogs grew to six divisions and have maintained all six every since. After moving around constantly for the first 2 seasons due to construction at Liberty Park, in 2006 the bulldogs finally had a home. The renovation at Liberty Park was completed and the Bulldogs have been able to practice and play on a state of the art artificial turf field with lights from 2006 till now in 2017.
Let's support positive and productive programs for young people in our community. Football teaches our young boys team work, discipline, and taking directions from authority figures among other things.
