Calling all Clergy Leaders! State Senator James Sanders Jr. (D-Rochdale Village, Far Rockaway) is hosting an emergency meeting for all the clergy leaders in the 10th Senatorial District concerning Hurricane Harvey and Irma. With the recent disaster of the Hurricane, it is important that we educate ourselves on how to be prepared for such occurrence in the future and work together to assist the affected people.
We at the Scoop, hope the clergy in the Jamaica, and Southeast Queens, NY, area will join State Senator James Sanders' efforts and work together to help other US citizens and residents recover from the recent storms Harvey and Irma. We also think it is a good idea to get mobilization strategies in place for future calamities that might befall us in our area and throughout the United States and world.
The clergy in the Jamaica, New York, and Southeast Queens area have a track record of being socially active. We are sure they will, in a collective fashion, rise to the occasion. Please let clergy you know in our area aware about the meeting tomorrow.
