New York, NY - sKribble sKratch Productions will present Panther Woman, performed by Qurell-Amani, for a six-day run October 16th -21st at the Playroom Theater, 151 W 46th St, 8th Floor, 7:30pm. Panther Woman is a work of historical fiction which tells the story of the main character’s experience in The Original Black Panther Party for Self Defense.



A one-woman show, Panther Woman takes the audience on an unforgettable journey from the Jim Crow South to the Civil Rights Movement of the 1960's and 1970's in a tale of struggle, love and hope for the future. Click here for tickets or call (800) 838-3006.

sKribble sKratch Productions, LLC was founded in 2014 as a means to provide quality theatrical roles for women of color. Qurell–Amani (Writer/Director/Performer/Owner - sKribblesKratch Prods.) is a graduate of the Florida State University School of Motion Picture, Television and Recording Arts; and the University of Phoenix where she earned a Master’s Degree in Business Administration.

Qurell is a well-rounded artist who has resided in several states including Beaufort, South Carolina where she was employed at WVGB Radio as an on-air personality and commercial voice-over artist; and Cincinnati, OH from where she traveled the country with Theatre IV (The Children’s Theatre of Cincinnati). Her first major endeavor in creating characters to which young women of color can aspire is Panther Woman, a labor of love which took over ten years to complete.
